Lady Gaga dominating the Music Suggestion Thread, showing that it's not compulsory to be an astonishingly ugly man with a guitar to make it in this thread.

if you like good old rock'n'roll check out "the blue van"

the next one is heavely inspired by led zeppelin (...over the hills and far away)

Do not be quick to reveal judgment. Hidden judgment is often more potent. It can guide reaction whose effects are felt only when too late to divert them.

That sounds like those Glam Rock bands from the 70s, like Slade-

I used to love Slade when I was a kid. Welsh, weren't they? Noddy Holder and company!

It's an early version of Vertigo, except with lyrics that not only made sense but also tackled a more serious subject (Leonard Peltier) than Vertigo's did (dance clubs?).

I've been looking around random websites, seeing what they say is the best song ever written. I've seen Stairway to Heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody, Like a Rolling Stone, and a couple others. What do y'all think (of these choices in particular)?

Stairway to Heaven is the best song ever written. Closely followed by Melissa, then everything on Harvest, Fat Man in the Bathtub, a shitload of Eagles and a few by Fleetwood Mac.

Wow there are so many to choose from.

I've always loved "Stairway to Heaven" But there is also "Rhapsody in Blue" "Free Bird" "Ride of the Valkyries" "Amazing Grace" So many bands and genres to choose from.

I love Led Zeppelin and “Stairway to heaven” but I don’t think that it’s the best song/piece ever written. There’s just too many to choose from.

BTW, The Eagles are NOT a rock band. It's COUNTRY.

I hate country music.

I hate country music too. With a passion. The Eagles made it good, but it is rock.
