It's an early version of Vertigo, except with lyrics that not only made sense but also tackled a more serious subject (Leonard Peltier) than Vertigo's did (dance clubs?).
I've been looking around random websites, seeing what they say is the best song ever written. I've seen Stairway to Heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody, Like a Rolling Stone, and a couple others. What do y'all think (of these choices in particular)?
Stairway to Heaven is the best song ever written. Closely followed by Melissa, then everything on Harvest, Fat Man in the Bathtub, a shitload of Eagles and a few by Fleetwood Mac.
I've always loved "Stairway to Heaven" But there is also "Rhapsody in Blue" "Free Bird" "Ride of the Valkyries" "Amazing Grace" So many bands and genres to choose from.
What fear is there in the night?

I love Led Zeppelin and “Stairway to heaven” but I don’t think that it’s the best song/piece ever written. There’s just too many to choose from.

there's a good american rock band (all the bands that came to my mind was british)
