Did anybody watch long enough to count the number of people in the audience? I didn't reach 5 myself before I started to have convulsions in places I don't want convulsions.

“There is no escape—we pay for the violence of our ancestors.”
Sandrider: "Keith went to Bobo's for a weekend of drinking, watched some DVDs,
and wrote a Dune Novel."
Convulsions aside and in an attempt at fairness this presentation does get interesting from about the 30 minute point when they open up the floor to Q&As.
I can't watch it. I've never finished a video where those two are speaking; their bullshit just makes me too angry. I'm afraid I'll punch my monitor (only half-joking there; it is a concern).
So, would anyone be kind enough to summarize? Or is it just more of the same? Do they actually manage to insult Frank some more, while heavily implying that they are writing the real Dune?
Gah! Fucking hacks! I'm getting angry even without watching it!
"Anything I write will be remembered and listed in bibliographies on Dune for several hundred years ..." — some delusional halfwit troll.

I know exactly what you're saying. I came really close to smashing something while reading Sandworms on my comp. Really close.

C'mon It is the Internet age, I'm sure 500 million viewers were watching on line!
Only the books written by Frank Herbert are canon.

DM was brilliant but I still wanted (and still want) a good separate Jihad story. Unfortunately, despite actually being set right in the middle of that Jihad, PoD completely missed the point ("Heroes of Dune"?!), shat all over an opportunity and instead told a boring pointless made-up bit of the story not very well.
Comb-Over had his Going-Out jacket on. What a tasteless rag, you'd think with all the money he makes from spewing out that drivel he'd be able to afford better clothes than that, he always seems to be wearing it.

I can't believe the interpretation that they are giving to the notes, even if Frank Herbert indeed wrote all that, it's just material that he, FH, decided to left out from the Dune novels storyline, like a movie editor, they are discarded scenes. But Pinky and the Brain want to makes us believe that all those cut out scenes are canon.

Money doesn't buy taste nor class. Look at Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, etc.
