I've been meaning to start posting a couple of things for a while, but never git round to it... until now . I can't promise brilliant Simon-style beautifully finished images - most of these are unfinished, and those that are 'finished' are rough-as-fuck

Most of these are done in photoshop - it's much more forgiving for a sketchy bastard like myself compared to real paper etc.

Some of this lot were done off my own bat, but others were done for a game Mod based on Dune that I've done some art for. Not really sure what's happening with that atm, but I'll definately plug it and post more if it takes off again

Some character sketches - some for the mod, and some for my own idea for a Naraj-based RPG.

Atreides Cargoman, Harkonnen Fighting man, Sardaukar (new), Sardaukar (old)
Quizrate Scribe, Jihadi, Jihadi, Jihadi Legislator
Nobleman, Traitor Noble, High class smuggler, CHOAM Agent.

And a tank to fulfill the action-battle quota

I definitely like the idea of Dune as a Graphic novel or anime-style movie. If only I was an eccentric billionare, I'd fund the project.

I'm hoping to re-read the chronicles (all 6... if I don't get sidetracked

) when I finish my current book. So I'll definitely be doing some more pretty soon... if not sooner

Definitely keep em coming, I'm always looking for inspiration for the Dune leg sleeve I've been planning, and fan art has been giving me quite a few ideas.

Wouldn't a leg sleeve be called a pant leg?

Yes, it would. But that doesn't have a very nice ring to it now does it? I don't make up the names for things, I just use em.

Next time I go into the shop I use for more work I'll ask the artist if he does pant legs.

Thanks Simon, yeah these are pretty much all completely digital. I'm a bit rubbish at using real pencils
