I was sorry to hear of the death of Gregory Trenholm Tidwell, known here as Omphalos, especially at such an early age.

Now the other Dune forum he managed, The (Almost) Undeleted, has gone offline. It hosted a whole lot of extremely interesting material, and I very much hope someone has it all backed up. (I have some of it, but I'm missing a lot of the interviews and other texts that were posted.)

I wonder if anyone has any plans or ideas for how to recreate something similar?

Wow, that sucks. Greg's brother who runs the server has been going through a lot, I've been trying not to hassle him. I'll send him a message.

Thanks! I figured T(A)U was probably gone for good.

It's a small thing in the context of a death, and I don't mean for you to bother him when he has bigger issues, but if his brother can bring it back online without too much trouble, that would be nice. A different solution might still be better in the long term, though.
