Beautiful photographs/What Arrakeen might look like

I stumbled across this interesting article on mashable (http://mashable.com/2016/01/28/the-beau ... nPbQWuVmqF) with photographs of modern day Iran. Most of these totally got me thinking "Arrakeeeeeeeeeen!"
You of course have to ignore the lack of water discipline, ther clouds and the photographs featuring rivers and snowy mountains.

I especially like the pictures "Azadi Tower in Teheran" and "ancient city of Bam". The latter is totally how I would imagine the poor/old city districts of Arrakeen.
