Hi.
I figured I should register if I'm gonna read around. Kinda like a vote in your favor I guess.
I picked up a copy (i.e. found) of Dune when I took a twelve hour train ride through the Western desert in India during an artist residency. I'm about to finish Chapterhouse and I am already lamenting the end of something I love.
My friends are so sick of hearing about Dune, I'm sure some of you can relate.
Anyway, "Hi" again. I'll be around.

Welcome. The guys are mostly harmless around here. But I doubt that you could ever find another group of guys and gals who know more about Dune than the regulars on here. (myself not included in that)

Welcome, and fear not, there are plenty of other good FH books. Just expect no sympathy nor quarter for the BH/KJA "Dune" fanfictions.

Welcome, I felt the same way at the end of Chapterhouse - listen to those who warn of the new "dune" authors though... they are terrible beyond description. Like someone said though, there is plenty of great FH writing out there for you still.
