Is your team still in the playoffs!? If they are, how far do you think they'll go? If not, are you disgusted that your guys didn't and the 7-9 Seahawks did? Do you not give a fuck? I'll wait to share my opinion on my team, but it looks to be an interesting playoff season.
Wild-Card Round:
NO@ SEA
NO 35 SEA 17
Seattle plays well first half because its their building, but Saints start lighting things up later as the 'Hawks, who played a pretty ugly game Sunday can't play the full sixty minutes.
NYJ@ IND
NYJ 27 IND 21
Jets win on a Peyton interception.
BAL@ KC
KC 28 BAL 17
There's always one surprise, I'm not even a KC fan, but I feel like the Ravens might take this for granted and already be thinking about the Patriots or the Steelers the following week, both teams they hate, and who hate them back)
GB@ PHI
GB 24 PHI 10
Vick has a crappy game, possibly gets injured.
Feel free to disagree with these! As for the first-round bye teams, the Patriots look really dangerous, the Falcons also look pretty damn good, and the Steelers have also showed that they are in the top tier, although maybe not as good as the first two. As for the Bears, I'm not really seeing it. They did beat Philadelphia a few weeks ago, but Philly as of late has not shown itself to be all that it was hyped up to be around mid-season.

Nah. Baltimore's tendency to fuck themselves in the fourth quarter is scary, but I think they'll beat KC. And then, it would make the whole playoffs if they beat either the Steelers or Patriots. Preferably the Steelers, who they dominated last time they played, until they blew it in the god damned fourth quarter.Sandwurm88 wrote: BAL@ KC

American Handegg, it's like Canadian Handegg, but they play with smaller balls on smaller feilds.Serkanner wrote:What was this sports again? Handegg?

The CFL ball is bigger? I know the field is longer and has bigger end zones, but I thought the ball was like the NFL ball.
I also like the three-downs rule and the 1-yard neutral zone. The CFL is a hoot.

Re: Playoffs?! (NFL)
"Our balls are bigger" was their catchphrase for a few years, but I was just researching this and it says the size difference is almost non-existant, in some cases ours might even be smaller (I guess they're not super specific in size in either league).TheDukester wrote:The CFL ball is bigger? I don't follow either to be honest.

I'm from Kansas City, and the general consensus among the unblinded fans is that Baltimore will roll over us. I mean, we were a 4-12 team last year and a 2-14 team the year before, but the Arrowhead factor could keep it interesting.
Also, the Chiefs haven't won a playoff game since 1993.

Re: Playoffs?! (NFL)
Yeah, I can understand that KC fans wouldn't want to get optimistic, but sometimes the fans of the team can be the hardest on the team. My friend's parents are Patriots fans, and I always watch Pats games with them, which I find hilarious, when they beat the Jets 45-3 they weren't even excited, they were pointing out flaws, and Brady got sacked two or three times, and they talked about that the whole game rather than the massive blowout that occurred. If the Lions did that, the fans would be ecstatic! And Arrowhead and Qwest are two stadiums that will be rockin', definitely true, so that's why I think that KC has a chance at winning and SEA will keep it close, at least in the first half. If the Ravens and the Saints get a few quick scores and quiet the fields down, then a blowout could possibly occur. And there is nooo way Seattle can get a comeback victory, not even against say, the Panthers. Seattle's average victory as by 14 points this season and average loss was by around 20. And did anyone see that STL-SEA 16-6 game? That was an ugly game... seemed like 25 punts or more.
As for the Chiefs comeback capability, did you know that Matt Cassel is one of the few QBs in history ever to throw back-to-back 400 yard games? That was back when he was a second stringer on the Patriots! And Brady has never done that in his career!
And I have never watched Canadian football, but I think the ball is more ovalur ( or oval-like, not sure if thats a word), I think, so it feels bigger...I don't really know.

Kind of unrelated, but I did a project on Egypt, and I HATE the word "pharaoh". It always looks wrong.
