His "tough guy" look is pure comedy, though. Especially with the rolls of soft fat visible even under a loose T-shirt.
And poor Brian ... well, not that he's really deserving of too much sympathy, but he just looks pathetic in photographs.

Well. in Dune, unpleasant or strange smells were an omen of evil or ill-will, so I don't doubt it.
