This isn't from his blog but I thought it'd fit here. I found this interview looking at the link from Riders find in "Everybody Hates Kevin." Most of it's the normal boilerplate KJA text, fav book Dune, 3000 pages of notes and a complete outline etc.
The Korps Jacker Anderson wrote: Even though they don't pay as well as books, I still write many (short) stories. Since when have you ever heard of an eccentric writer making particularly valid business decisions anyway?
I gotta think that by eccentric he means his delusion that he's a mountain man.
He goes on to say/ wrote:And who knows, in my copious free time, I may write a few more short stories, maybe enough for another collection ...
Maybe he's trying to be funny, maybe he's bragging about how he's got this writing gig licked. Smug smirking smeghead.

edit; taken out of context
When asked about writing stories after real authors have written them, KJA wrote:The format in which it was originally written matters not a whit!

Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

Keith on 28 November 2005 wrote:The Colorado Trail is a marvelous route winding 468 miles...I have already hiked over 240 miles of the CT.
Keith on 9 August 2010 wrote:...have now completed 351 miles (of 482) on the Colorado Trail.
So it's now 14 miles longer :? and he's done the enormous sum of 111 miles...IN 5 YEARS

How many miles did he claim he did recently? He'd have to do 22.2 miles a year to rack up 111 in five.

I wasn't following him in 2005, but I remember there's another Colorado Trail post or two in the blogs somewhere; those aren't the only two mentions.

I seriously doubt the Trail has grown in the interim, so chalk that one up to the usual KJA dumbfuckery.

Ha! Good spot on that one.

Typical Anderjacket looseness with facts. Or else the need to make himself look a little bit better took over during the second interview. Maybe a combination of the two.

This is probably how the 2-1/2 page "road map" from FH's safety deposit box grew into a "complete and detailed outline."

Talking of thunderous orgasms, Keith's posted more details of Smellhole. The actual plot synopsis is elsewhere here, but here's the rest:

"Smellhole—an epic original science fiction series from the stunning imaginations of bestsellers Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson

Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson have spent the past decade writing the brilliant, ambitious novels that expanded and explored Frank Herbert’s Dune universe. Every one of their Dune novels has been an international bestseller, garnering critical acclaim, awards, and the respect of fans around the world.

Now they have created the first novel in an original three-book series—Smellhole—an epic, panoramic story on a galactic scale packed with non-stop adventure, fascinating characters, and wondrous concepts.

Astonishing, fascinating, and intense, Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson have used their superb creative talents once again to create a novel with a true sense of awe and wonder. Smellhole is Science Fiction at its best—accessible, classic…and timeless."

Talk about over-egging it, bloody hell :?

And what awards have they won again? and respect??

I saw that yesterday (it was weird, the ROT/Gorge feeds on Twitter were announcing it before he did himself ???) and was going to blog about it, but lost interest before I got around to it. :P

stunning imaginations

Any chance the copy was written by a secret OH? Nah, I'd put money on it being by KJA himself!

the brilliant, ambitious novels that expanded and explored Frank Herbert’s Dune universe

Yeah, I imagine "expanded and explored" perfectly describes the sensations of being fisted anally without lube.

their superb creative talents

Yeah, it's amazing the shapes KJA & BoBo's shit can take as it piles up in the bowl. And can we talk AMOUNT?

a true sense of awe and wonder

Yeah... I'm awed that ROT/Gorge is willing to stick it out for this one, given the track record of the last few McDunes. And I wonder who KJA will have to blow when it tanks big time. :)

Wait, I just want to clarify.
Isn't 'smellhole' the book about an inhospitable planet no one wants until they discover a unique resorce that's unavailable elswhere?

Its not a surprise, Saga of Saggy Suns was the exact same galaxy-wide space opera. I wonder how many of the ideas that went into Sag7 were things KJA wanted to put in Dune but couldn't. Same goes for Smallhole. I wonder how much of it was reclaimed from the cancelled Throne and Leto...

Euphrates Hideki would probably be more historically accurate. ;)

Or how about Ganges Benito?

My favorite character name still remains "the dowager Diadem Michella Duchenet". I mean, "douche-net" just seems so perfect for this. :P

(Oh, and wasn't Sonjeera that obnoxious Indian kid on American Idol a few seasons back? :? )

OK...

BEFORE anyone can make any crude or rude remarks about KJA's latest crop of pix uploaded to his blahg, I just want to remind you ALL of that important thing Geoffy Thorne taught us last week:

Wow, Keith, you mean you actually took a moment to speak with your spouse on your anniversary?!?!

Jesus wept. He really, really did.

There has NEVER been a more socially retarded person than Kevin J. Anderson. And he just happily posts shit like that, over and over again.

Proof that TheKJA doesn't have a friend in the world: a friend would tell him to stop revealing all of these embarrassing details!

I just wish it had been them in the news about going over a cliff on a Segway!

(You know, what's REALLY funny is that Teg & I had plans to start a blog called "Brian Herbert's Segway" and post about him traveling all over the country on one instead of flying and having him go over a cliff one day as he tried to cross the Rockies to get to a brainstorming session with Kevvy in Denver. :laughing-rolling: )

Why is Keith's head always tilted in posed photographs?

Is it the weight of his ego, actually bending his neck muscles? Is it some sort of misguided "just shoot my good side, please" notion? Is it some sort of goofy affection that he thinks looks cool?
