Well, I lost a few braincells catching up on this. Is this guy banned here yet or what? When he doesn't write a short novel for a post he's occasionally entertaining.

He's not a totally rancid pus-filled vaginal cyst like Hyppo. Or an equally complete waste of protoplasm like arnoldo. He's not a racist moron like Swordmaster. Or a teeny-weenie wanker like Sloey. That's everyone that's been banned, right?

He's far less disruptive than Pestie, who hasn't been banned. So why would the question of benning him even come up? Being stupid and posting long, meaningless, poorly spelled and written posts aren't bannable offenses, are they?

I agree. He's an unbelievable bore, but I kind of hope he doesn't get banned. He hasn't said anything racist, or crossed any of those kind of boundaries, as far as I'm aware of. He did say we should all shoot ourselves in the head, or something like that, but somehow none of what he says actually offends me. I may have missed some things, though. I enjoyed his use of the Hitler smilie.

as I've stated before, I'm against banning of anyone for any reason -
save spammers, or someone posting illegal content that could bring
heat on The Tidwell ... no-one should ever be banned for their opinions,
of course, no matter how asinine or incorrect, and flame wars usually
burn themselves out (altho I can understand admins not wanting to
clutter up boards with pointless, obscene ranting not related to the
boards' themes)

that's just my opinion, tho, I'm a fellow traveller here ... but I do miss Sloey ...
sometimes, late at night, when I'm alone ... I put on the stretchy pants and dream ...

but this guy's about done, I think ... he'll probably do some drive-bys ... or go bother
the folks at the BSG forums ... he's not got the balls for the long fight, or the smarts

No, I should have been clearer. I was reading the forum after a week away and thought he was veering in that direction from what I'd read already (about half) so I took a guess.

I'm fine with him being here. I think I have actually read a couple of half way intelligent things in shorter posts of his. The long posts cost too much of my life to spend on someone who's obviously operating on less than full capacity.

I'm with AToE, here. It can never hurt me to see things from someone else's point of view - that's partly what forums are for, not so?

The electrocuted cat guy does indeed start to make some interesting points, but by the time I've got to the end of one of his longer posts I've usually forgotten what it was.

BTW, in case you didn't know it, the I haz bad fur day cat is Byron Merritt's avatar on the
Corporate Dune Board (and his sig contains Freakin' Meow!, which is why that phrase gets
dropped here from time to time ) ... he(On-a-Sander) switched the avatar right after the boy,
did I get you dumb guys posts .... believes the avatar is somehow offensive here or would
get somebody riled up .... another Troll Fail, and unimaginative ...

I've read all his posts so far, poor wording, typos, misspellings, 6th grade grammar mistakes &etc.
and despite the use of the collective "we" & "us" and the lecturing tone with his opinion presented
as The Last Word, I've found absolutely nothing of interest - he's read the books, and probably
really enjoyed them and gave him new insights &etc, but he gets into deep water as soon as he
wades out of the shallow end and tries to extrapolate ....

if he had been a normal person who wandered in here with the same posts, I'd be fine with it;
but, coming thru the door throwing rocks, falling flat on his face, getting up and acting like he's
The Last True Dune Fan just makes him a shitheel in my book ....
