i love dune, i'm 20, been reading since i was about 12 after the first time i saw the sci fi mini series. read the core 6 a good 8 or 9 times, and they get more fantastic each time. in my mind the word badass has been replaced by the name duncan, and though the first dune is my favorite, heretics is a very very close second
i hate the lynch movie, love the sci fi versions, even though i know how much they got wrong, but hey, at least there are no generic bald sci-fi women, skinny gurneys, sonic atreides weapons, or family dogs
nothings greater then dune, so im excited to check this place out
really hope this place isnt infested by people who actually think the crap kja and bryguy come out with is good (lol norma)
my name is vincent as well!
as if that was important

Hello. I am new to forums and are in Romania. Do not speak English, and therefore using Google Translate. I'm a fan of Dune, but the Terminator, are enrolled there. The problem is here, and there, if they can communicate, if I can make myself understood, because I am relying solely on Google Translate, which I know gives errors. I hope that there is a problem that Terminator fan, even if the machines Dune thinkers are prohibited.
You can say that I am "heretic", and I can banish.

I write in Romanian, and give Google Translate text to translate. It's confusing, unclear, my message? I apologize for inconvenience, I really do not know English and are forced to use Google Translate.

My girlfriend is Romanian. If you just post in Romanian I will have it translated correctly. Unfortunately, it is. You must learn English, to translate one. The best translator is the human brain. I think Frank Herbert would have agreed with this.A Thing of Eternity wrote:Welcome. That translater isn't working very well unfortunately!

Re: hello hello
Sorry, I'm not understanding you. You are saying that it is translating my English into Romainian correctly? I agree a human brain would do a much better job! The problem is that the English it is giving you to post is not making sense. It almost makes sense, but it is confusing enough that it is hard to tell what you are trying to say.DragEgusku wrote:Unfortunately, it is. You must learn English, to translate one. May continue to post if Google Translate work reasonable?
I really have no talent for foreign languages, are forced to use automatic translation.
I would like to participate on this forum, because I am a fan Dune and in Romania too are not forums for Dune.

I think I wrote above me. More broadly, I'm a fan of the Dune series, the first book I read was Children of Dune and then I read books and rest.
Mostly I liked the first volume, Dune.
