Nothing is as classic as the pic of mommy the day after in the recovery room.
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

Did you eat the placenta? Apparently it helps you to bond.
Congratulations Nampigai and Mrs Nampigai!

We wanted to sell ours but they wanted a storage fee until we found a buyer. It's hard to make an honest buck these days.

@Trang - I know the feeling if life has a meaning, this comes pretty damn close. I had a phone call with a great friend of mine the day after, he told me I sounded "different" I told him to make his girlfriend pregnant and he'll know
@Chanilover - no, I was a bit hungry though and the wife was too, but we had some bread and chicken instead
- the midwife played around with it though "look - isn't this marvelous, see this where..." all I heard was blah blah blah - my mind was somewhere else - but it is marvelous, having spent nine month in a meat tent.
the morning after
and a pic from two days ago - Winnie is wathchin over her

It's a shame really, we couldn't even donate the placenta and cord for stem cell research without paying a fee.

You wouldn't have that problem with socialised medicine! You know it makes sense.

I think we just have to fill out a consent form up here to donate that stuff. You only have to pay for it if you want them to store the cells for your own future use (perfect match guaranteed), they only keep for about 15 years though.

Yeah, after 15 years they have an attitude and expect you to buy them nice things.
(Oops. I thought you wrote "they only keep them for 15 years". Still works though!

Could be worse, could be a teenage girl.
Practice your gun cleaning charade for when boys come visiting some day!

Yes, this one is going to be a problem:

I hope you're not a big fan of sleep 'cause you're not going to get any for a few years.

I'm
still amazed at the stuff I can get done on six ... four ... two hours of sleep.
It hit me on a business trip last year that I hadn't slept in in nearly three years. I slept in
that morning, you can be sure.

OK, been staring at the monitor for TOO LONG again!

knew what it really said.

"the one that stays awake all night, have gained an extra day in his life" - I see it like this, I've just had my life prolonged a few years. I'm tired as hell tough
