I've been told by some friends the people at the hospital took the placenta away without telling them...

@Trang - I know the feeling if life has a meaning, this comes pretty damn close. I had a phone call with a great friend of mine the day after, he told me I sounded "different" I told him to make his girlfriend pregnant and he'll know

@Chanilover - no, I was a bit hungry though and the wife was too, but we had some bread and chicken instead

- the midwife played around with it though "look - isn't this marvelous, see this where..." all I heard was blah blah blah - my mind was somewhere else - but it is marvelous, having spent nine month in a meat tent.

I think we just have to fill out a consent form up here to donate that stuff. You only have to pay for it if you want them to store the cells for your own future use (perfect match guaranteed), they only keep for about 15 years though.

I'm still amazed at the stuff I can get done on six ... four ... two hours of sleep.

It hit me on a business trip last year that I hadn't slept in in nearly three years. I slept in that morning, you can be sure.
