I could see Monica Belucci as Dar or Lucilla, but not as Murbella. I don't remember if it states Murbella's age in the books, but I feel like she is younger - maybe late 20's, vs. Odrade who should be a bit older.

And although Thandie can certainly play a RM, I think you absolutely have to find someone at least a bit middle-eastern looking to play Chani. It just makes too much sense.

I would vote for Sharon Stone for a sexy "older" RM, or Sean Young for 1984's sake.

Since there aren't more than a handful of speaking parts for RM/BG's, I would be in favor of trotting out the entire Victoria's Secret catalog.

Unfortunately that's probably true. It'll be a pure fluke if this movie is successful enough to rate a sequel as long as the HLP is has their grubby hands in it.

She's 49 now, though, so by the time they got round to making the movies.... OK, never mind. She'd be shriveled down to nuttin' by then.
