Agreed. I'd really like to see the Fremen look as 'waterthin' as they should be per the books. God forbid they cast people who look more 'ethnic', such as a middle-eastern looking Chani. Remember that Chani is quite the toughie in the books, especially in the beginning. You'd have to cast someone with a much more athletic look to her I think.

I think there should be a role somewhere for Judi Dench - I really love that woman - there was a BBC series in the 90s
called "as time goes by" - I caught a few on PBS then ended up ordering the DVDs - Dame Dench had a penchant for
wearing tight white sweaters and no bra - and that was just sexy, I don't care who you are ....

It's called The Jacket (funnily enough...), it's a really very well done time travel movie from around 2003, there's some better footage of her in the deleted scenes, but you do get a quick peek in the movie itself, very tasteful.

Agreed. But it's hard to find a thin actor who can play her well that isn't a supermodel.
