Hi all
My name is Chris (easy enough huh?). I'm 25 yrs old and live in New Hampshire. I'm a software engineer and check the boards during the day to get a break from work. Frequent lurker, infrequent poster.
I got into Dune via the sci-fi channel mini-series. The story intrigued me and I read the originals during the following summer. The fact that there was a series was a pleasant surprise for me actually. I've re-read them once since then, and I'm thinking another read might be in order soon.
So compared to some of you all here, I'm probably limited in my Dune knowledge, but I'll be trying to chime in when I can!

Good to have you chris!
I strongly suggest reading them again, you'll be amazed how much more you get out of them each time. In twenty years they haven't gotten old to me.
Don't worry about having limited Dune knowledge, if you want to learn you're with the right bunch of fold so please don't be affraid to ask questions.
