The Sons of Idaho
Hello Everybody
So i recently registered over at the DuneNovels forum, In hopes of hearing some new POVs on some of the themes of Dune.
This seems like a good opportunity to do the same.
I am 25, and an engineer from Chicago.
First discovered Dune about 4 years ago when I was in school and was instantly hooked. I couldn't put them down until I had read all six.
Then of course, I couldn't say no to more Dune, so I read all the prequels (I'll leave opinions on those for later).
After reading the "sequels" and being left without the sense of closure that I had hoped for, I was eager to hear other people's takes on the saga in retrospect.
That, and the fact that my friends are thoroughly sick of hearing me talk about Dune, has led me here.
So, I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say, and hopefully I'll gain some new insights from all of you.

Thats pretty cool. That would probably be an interesting system to work with.Freakzilla wrote:Cool, I design fire alarm systems.
Do you do the programming/networking, or do you do the hardware/wiring designs as well?

Re: The Sons of Idaho
I have had programming/networking training but I try to stay away from it since I don't have much experience in the field. I mainly just do submittal packages for distributors. I'm happy being a cube monkey, working with you engineer types. The Sons of Idaho wrote:Thats pretty cool.
