Re: The KJA's Greatest Hits
As for why KJA doesn't understand that *not* showing Dune go kablooey is more effective than showing it, remember that he was inspired to start writing by a movie he saw.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

Re: The KJA's Greatest Hits
What I lack in social skills I make up for in imagination.
My kids are terrified to go upstairs or in the basement alone (unless it's to destroy something that belongs to me). That blows my mind.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

Having an older brother sucks. I'm my brothers excuse to say he's "driving me to the library" so he can go to some slutty girls' houses and do it. It feels sort of weird just like sitting in McDonalds for like two hours

I can turn that situation into a goldmine for you. Just blackmail him into finding YOU some slutty girls to do it with.Sandwurm88 wrote:Having an older brother sucks. These are my eloquent arguments in case he notifies the authorities:
What the hell man, Obama smokes weed!!! Its not even a felony!
You can drink when your older, I know a 21 year old girl whose 4 foot 11, and 90 pounds! I doubt she could take more than an average 15 year old kid, and isn't that why its illegal, they 'fraid we can't take it. Bad logic, stupid lawmakers.
Oh well, and to use an analogy, he's like a homeless guy with 25 extra bucks, and I'm like Spitzer ( that governor of NY)...get my drift?

I most certainly do not get your drift (not a yank myself so much of the political jokes are lost on me) - but I see your predicament.

Just found this great candid shot of AnderJacket. Looks like he got ambushed by the photographer.

This is the picture that should be a bad hip-hop album cover...
I can't believe somebody called them the "Sons of Dune" though...Kevin J. Anderson is not, nor ever will be related to Frank Herbert. Unless he and BoBo get married, I guess.

This would be part of the hip-hop album artwork.
I don't think the author should make the reader do that much work - Kevin J. Anderson

There’s an unwritten compact between you and the reader. If someone enters a bookstore and sets down hard earned money(energy) for your book, you owe that person some entertainment and as much more as you can give. - Frank Herbert

Seriously, there has never been two dorkier white nerds in the history of the universe. Getting them together for a single photo establishes a new standard in social retardation.

Brian kinda looks like Art Garfunkle... weird.
I also find it weird that Brian looks like the younger one, despite being something like 20 years old than KJA (I think).

Re: The KJA's Greatest Hits
To me its the look of pure narcissism. KJA never looks at anything else, He's always looking right back at himself.
ever notice how he almost always seems to be looking directly at the camera, especially in shots that are random con or party shots? it must be his mutant power.
