He'd blog and tweet himself into a coma over it, no doubt.
Would we hate him as much if he would engage us in open, honest communication?
I don't know.
I probably would.
But at least it would show that he has a pair.

Oh, I'm not implying that he actually has a pair. In my opinion, he would never engage us in a face-to-face discussion about his "work." I think the only thing he cares about is the money...he could care less how his work is received by true fans...only how many books he sells.

Whenever he starts talking, say the word "HACK!" loudly into your hand, as if you're coughing. If he asks you anything about it, just say you're sorry, but you have a hacking cough ...HoryThory wrote:Fuck it. Throw...something at KJA! A nasty word will do.
... but you'd rather hear that than a coughing hack.
Or something.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

I thought I read somewhere that he only had one (or maybe only one functional ball). Or I could just be confused.smugetsu wrote:Oh, I'm not implying that he actually has a pair.

And, seriously, nothing would hurt Kevin more than that. That Great Author being ... dismissed ... by a Talifan?!?! He would be reeling.
It all comes down to this. Unfortunately by posting it here he'll be having wet dreams of having us hauled out of a signing for saying it to him.
(Hi Kevin! We know you are watching. By the way, in my interpretation from reading Winds, I'm wondering if Brian has talked to you yet about how he's not quite as confident in your writing as he used to be. I'd just hate to see you edged out of yet another "And Kevin J Anderson" collaboration.)
