Prophecy and prescience--How can they be put to the test in the face of the
unanswered questions? Consider: How much is actual prediction of the "waveform"
(as Muad'Dib referred to his vision-image) and how much is the prophet shaping
the future to fit the prophecy? What of the harmonics inherent in the act of
prophecy? Does the prophet see the future or does he see a line of weakness, a
fault or cleavage that he may shatter with words or decisions as a diamondcutter
shatters his gem with a blow of a knife?
-"Private Reflections on Muad'Dib" by the Princess Irulan
The wild Fremen, Stilgar and Jamis, debate taking the water of Paul and Jessica. Stilgar learns that Paul is the son of Duke Leto and the one Liet has asked them to look for, however he decides Jessica is too much of a risk to take with them and to take her water. Jessica puts him in a hold and Paul climbs up the rocks to hide. Stilgar sees the value in Jessica and offers her sanctuary in exchange for teaching him her way of battle. Paul meets Chani, the girl from his early visions. They head across the basin to Cave of Birds.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.
