Interesting. According to the article, KJA was invited to write a short story and, perhaps smelling the $$$$ like any good snake oil salesman, he contacted Bobo about a Dune novel. I wonder how long it took the Hack to convince BH to write Dune 7 ... after the House and Legends books?
