Guess your right.. I wasnt unsophisticated or anything.. focused in different direction I guess, not to say Freaks kids arent focused right either. I was playing baseball, messing with tools with my dad on house, cars.. reading about space..etc. Females and the sex topic really never came into consideration until 12 or so.. changed drastically around there but guess was busy.. and your right.. very different times. very.Rakis wrote:Well, at seven years old, i knew some stuff from my brother's Plaboy collection...trang wrote:***sCrAtchIng HeaD****
Im still amazed to hear how a seven year old was able to download porn to the phone, or why they have a phone, or that they even know what porn is...![]()
I'm not surprise that kids know that stuff...Nowadays, with the internet, they know a LOT more than we did...

Keep in mind, my kids range from ages 3 to 12. They are into all those things too.
My seven-year-old wants to play tennis for some reason, I think he just needs a good beating... WTF? Tennis?
When little sister arrived, the differences between boys and girls became very evident. I think that may have sparked some interest in the three older boys about sex. She's a good little narc though, she rats her brothers out.

I'm new, but I figured I'd link a few pics:
About to say "I do" at the Llano river in Mason, TX, (known as the hill country, near Fredericksburg, mostly settled by Germans for its resemblance to Bavaria, or so I'm told) immediately after our outdoor secular wedding:

And of course, you can't have a Texas wedding without longhorns:

My wife and I taking pictures:

Dancing afterwards:

My wife and I, along with our Pomeranian child, Baxley:

And of course, in our cermonial baby killing attire (you know that's what we atheists do in our spare time)
jk, it's Halloween

And that's about it for the pics I could dig up. Enjoy!

I saw a FML where a doctor diagnosed a guy with Tennis Elbow. Only problem was that he didn't play tennis but was instead an excessive masturbator.
Make one joke about tennis elbow without providing an appropriate link (which is now somewhere in the "Banned" thread) and now I'm the guy Chig associates with "tennis elbow of the penis."
BTW, great pics!

As for getting her on here, I'm sorry, but she's knee deep in Twilight and True Blood and various other vampire stuff. That's more her genre, though she does like sci-fi, and I'm trying to get her to read it.

Actually, the HBO series is based on this book series:

Technically, it's the Sookie Stackhouse series, but I call it the True Blood series

In terms of vampire stories all I've read are Bram Stoker's Dracula, Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire, The Vampire Lestat and I'm on my way through The Queen of the Damned. It was the exploration of immortality that interested me though, not the genre.
The first three are quite good, not so drawn into the last one though. (Apparently people find them scary, I simply didn't).

My favorite vampire book was an anthology edited by Robert McCammon called Under the Fang. I think all the stories in it assume that vampires have taken over the world.

I love True Blood, lots of sex and violence!

Yeah, I think the second season starts on the 14th. They've been showing reruns of the 1st season a lot lately to get people caught up.
