Falcor extends his greetings
Hello all,
I stumbled upon the forums and had to throw in my two cents about the Golden Path, for more on that feel free to check it out:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1136&start=30
And as per Freakzilla's request, I'm introducing myself. Currently, I'm reading Hunters of Dune and I've read the 6 FH originals. So far, I'm liking it, despite the warnings I've received that BH and KJA suck, but honestly, I realize that they may not be as eloquent as FH, but as long as I get the plot continuance, I believe I'll be happy, even if its bare-bones outlines of FH's original notes. I do think that getting our hands on those would be nice, if indeed they do exist and they're not all simply locked in BH's head from his own imagination mixed with the conversations with his father, pre-mortem. But in any case, I'm excited the series is moving forward, and thus far, I have no complaints.
Anywho, I'm looking forward to great discussions with you guys!

Thank you! And welcome to my humble sietch. An eagle will be sacraficed tonight.Falcor wrote:Hello all,

I thought it was OK until they revealled who Marty and Daniel are in the last few chapters and I threw down the book in disgust, vowing vendetta. It is even more disgusting if you have read the Legends of Dune series. The coming plot twist is so obvious you don't want to believe it. When it came, I asked for my money back.Currently, I'm reading Hunters of Dune and I've read the 6 FH originals. You'll not find a more informed group of Dune fans anywhere. BH & KJA toddle where we stride.I do think that getting our hands on those would be nice, if indeed they do exist and they're not all simply locked in BH's head from his own imagination mixed with the conversations with his father, pre-mortem. Enjoy!

Hi Falcor.
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hypatia approaches one.

Achlan wasachlan fii sietchnaaaaaa!
Actually, I think I said welcome in another thread, so this would be doubly and triply welcome.
(Personally, I'm more interested in the conversations Brian has had with his father post-mortem. Knowharramean?

Hello and Welcome. Hope your shots are up to date.
I think you might find one or two persons (or 3 or 4 or 5 or.......) around here who are capable of answering Dune related question.

Heh, why does she look Canadian?
Well, she is of French descent, last name's Gullette. As for Canadian, sadly no, though many a time during the reign of the God Emperor Bush II she vowed to escape to Canada as an Atheist refugee seeking solace for religious persecution.
