Wow. Experimentation on monkeys is not unheard of, but I've never read anything about injecting them with genes before. That's rather amazing that it took and was passed on.

I had heard of the glow in the dark kittens or something similar, but the monkeys passing the gene on was what I thought made it newsworthy.
