see, now i got a positive reaction out of you by posting something.
now that we've covered this milestone, the world is a better place.

but i still say we need more smileys.
and ignore function so ppl can enjoy themselves by reading only posts they want to read.
or the add friends option.
can you do this on this board.
ppl could add themselves as friends so it would be easy to make difference
from ppl who post every day and ppl who drop by from time to time like me.
then everybody wouldn't read everything(my posts and such, if it creates a problem) only the friends posts.
it's not ignore but will connect everyone who considers this community as friends only.

she really has so much to contribute.
but yes at least she'll go crawl under her rock again soon.
maybe if we're lucky, it'll crush her

ARCH and the bitchfest she unleashed during her latest 2-day stint here.

basic free speech, anti-censorship, equal access,
and the message that an "ignore" button sends.
you can skip over and not read any post at any time.

How the hell would this work? So you ignore someone's posts... Ok, but then people start quoting bits of that ignored person's posts and suddenyl you don't know what anyone's talking about! Sounds like a feature I'd never use. I think I agree with SandRider on this one. If I wanted to be a driveby postwhore, or even an asshole, I certainly wouldn't want anyone to be able to disregard me.

I'd be the first to admit that I'm not very computer savy, but it seems like once you are on a board long enough you'll get to know those who you might like to ignore. Then just scan over their posts. If we had that ingore button some might actually missed something they would want to read if said poster actually came up with something good.
Hope that makes a little sense. I don't see the need for one on here.

Re: Ignore/plonk feature
It'd be nice if there was a plug-in allowing you to ignore new posts in given forums...
