Re: Mediteatro
I'll watch anything they put out. I wish they'd pushed back on the Dune thing a little harder though.

Could have been free publicity, keeping the idea of a new Dune movie alive when precious little else is.
The HLP: not know for amazing business acumen.
(What is it now, 50 or 80 days until some sort of announcement?

Well, having "valkiri" and "nibelongs" etc in there seems to point at a certian direction...inhuien wrote:I can't say for sure as my resident Spanish translator is out at the moment but going by the home page graphics/visuals they're working on an Arthurian or Norse type thing.

And I can't open any links either(IE), I go with the "under construction" theory.
In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.
I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

The Niebelongs were a hoard of Burgundians. Wagner wrote an opera about them and presented them as the fiercest dwarfs the world has ever seen. That movie looks like something told in the saga style. I saw a staff with electricity shooting out of it, so it probably has some magic in it too. Looks pretty cool, and they have a bit of the Wagner piece on the site. Try it with another browser. I used MSIE yesterday.

Isn't the guy with the eyepatch and spear(?) supposed to be Odin?
Also, the lightning staff(seems more like another spear to me BTW) could be Odin as well, I remember him having such varied descriptions(old man with a pointy hat I think, where Tolkien took Gandalf's looks from*).
*Could be messing this up, I've been up all night at work.

Re: Mediteatro
Hello everybody!! I find this topic by chance. Yes, the web was"under construction", but now you can find "The Nibelungs Teaser trailer" and some pics in the Gallery (Galería): http://www.mediteatro.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Of course our movies are based on Wagner's "Ring of the Nibelung" and "The Song of the Nibelungs", the german epic poem. About Dune fan film, I prefer not returning to this issue for the present. Thank you all for your interest.

Yes, Is Odin as "god" winth his winged helmet . When Odin dresses like "Gandalf" is known as "the wanderer". You can wath the wanderer in the teaser trailer and in a few pics.orald wrote:Isn't the guy with the eyepatch and spear(?) supposed to be Odin?
