It's a shame, Chig, I think you'll really like it. It's gritty and quite merciless for alot of the characters, kinda like Dune.

Anyway.. back to the hot and sweaty. I wonder how long it would take to become accustomed to the smell of your own stillsuit? Also, I wonder what keeps them from getting a rash!

About the rash, I remember someone(Liet?) saying you get used to the suits after a while, when your body's water content adjusts(as in, stop being water-fat) by sweating less.
Also, the stillsuit absorbes every bit of moisture very quickly and efficiently, so you'll get dry fast.

I can imagine a 'Dune' brand of diapers/tampones with a commercial like "Absorbs like a Fremen-made stillsuit!"

My cubicle at work has padded walls. I don't think they are helping though. Neither is the flourescent lighting.

I remember one time in the police station some ass put blue florecent lights in a bridge, and they were blinking too...damn, I walked it with my eyes shut.

The next time I was there those lights were gone.
