Funny how only the books by that pair has DUNE written in large letters.

i know eh! on Frank's books he emphasized himself as author as much or even more than the title of the book. these guys know they have no selling power in and of themselves so they have to capitalize on the brand they're highjacking.

The lettering for the author is commonly much larger than the title. It's pretty much standard in fiction books. But you're right, the publishers are relying on the recognition of the famous series, rather than the reputation of those who wrote it.
