Whoa, this is complete bullshit and fairly offensive.

If you're going to slam him, slam him on his apparent sins, not something like this crap.

What insanity has he caused (other than maybe your own, Sloey)?

He doesn't just sit around: he has a job in a hospital ER, which is not something I would ever want to even think about doing, even if I were cut out for it.

There is no evidence or even rumor that he is sexually promiscuous, or engages in homosexual activities. He has been married twice (I believe) and has at least two children.

I do agree that as a member of the HLP he is implicitly cooperating with his uncle and Kevin J. Anderson's degradation of Frank Herbert's literary legacy, apparently for the purpose of shared financial gain.

As part of the whole Net Nazi routine over on the DN BBS, he also ignores or deletes serious questions and refuses to correct or retract his mistakes even when they are pointed out to him.

Consider this a formal protest against needless stupidity.

Sandrider, I am not on drugs. I take great pride in that fact and continue to rub it i nthe faces of my friends who are on drugs.

I agree the world does need more day-laborers. Or at least amuel workers. The problem is that no one wants to do it becuase it doesn't pay enough.

Unlike, say, an actor. (Brad Pitt) who makes millions of dollars on a single movie and really doesn't help society function at all, while you have Johnny Redneck workin' his ass off for peanuts, building buildings and what not.

The reason for all of the Byron bashing is from that old SNL routine that began with Dan Ackroid.
