I thought of copying it over but was mindful of copyright pitfalls, and not knowing enough erred on the side of caution.

KJA? No, he's not the one who needs to read this:

I had already written several pieces about ecological matters, but my superhero concept filled me with a concern that ecology might be the next banner for demagogues and would-be-heroes, for the power seekers and others ready to find an adrenaline high in the launching of a new crusade.

Al Gore anyone? Not to mention him saying anything about how the smallfolk should try and reduce global warming is like Baron Harkonnen calling out for food-relief operations in Somalia.
