Its an old ad that is stuck in my head. From the early 90's I think. Some guy picks up a phone and dials his mom and then a guy on a beach in the tropics picks up the phone and says "Wokanakabisai!" It was an ad for a company that said that they would never screw up like the other company would. for some reason its been stuck in my head for a few days.SandChigger wrote:What? What what?!
(Hey, at least mine are real, from the books. The first from CoD and the second from the Terminology. Phmmmph!)
(Darn...should have made that a trivial thread question.)

The whole song, just in case any of you were craving more. Soundgarden did a cover version:
The bigger the cushion, the sweeter the pushin'
That's what I said
The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand
Or so I have read
My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo
I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo
Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about bum cakes, my girl's got 'em
Big bottom drive me out of my mind
How could I leave this behind?
I met her on Monday, 'twas my lucky bun day
You know what I mean
I love her each weekday, each velvety cheek day
You know what I mean
My love gun's loaded and she's in my sights
Big game is waiting there inside her tights, yeah
Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about mud flaps, my girl's got 'em
Big bottom drive me out of my mind
How could I leave this behind?
My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo
I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

Why, DNBBS is no board, it's just elaborate spam...many people (about a little over 1,000 of them) made that mistake...it's ok...BasharTeg wrote:Hi all.
I just joined today. I was on the dunenovels.com forum for "classic dune only". Didnt seem like there was much activity over t here. Someone recomended this site, and I like what I see so far. I can't stand the new Dune novels, and the Classic Saga is my all time favorite aside from lord of the rings. Just saying hi and I look forward to posting in the future.

Welcome, and keep reading Dune and its great sequels. If you find a book that says "Dune" but lacks the name Frank Herbert ... just run!

Welcome!
Only buy Road to Dune if it is less than half price... just be careful which half you're paying for

And, if you can't help yourself and just want to read the FH parts, then get it used. Do not contribute monetarily to the Herbert trust.Baraka Bryan wrote:even then.... if the Dune is preceded by "Road to" then at least walk... some parts, avoid like the plague
