And, in an interesting bit of trivia, Frank wrote the foreword to a SF anthology the original short story (same name) appeared in: "Frank Herbert edits Nebula Winners" (yes, I am a complete fanboy for having this on my shelf).Spice Grandson wrote:This one's from ENEMY MINE. One of my favorite old SF films (not that old, but still darn fun to watch).Spice Grandson wrote:"I told you I'd come back for you, you little tadpole."

on Movies that inspired me
THE DARK KNIGHT inspired me to base my life aftre the Joker.
But I guess my biggest influence in my writing would be THE MAN WITH NO NAME trilogy. I mean, can't you see the Simalarities? Plus STAR WARS was a big influence too...

Actually, no. I may have watched one or two in parts, but I'm talking about proper serial killing, not the boring mind games I saw there.
Kevin Spacy(sp?) in Se7en is perfect. And I luuuv the box scene, and Shatner's version of it even more.

In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.

I concur
There's a film called The Man From Earth that reminded me a bit of K-Pax in places. It's a brilliant neat little low budget film, but kept me thinking for quite a while afterwards.
