Quick hi...
...seemed the polite thing to do.
My name is Kristian Lund, I live in Århus, Denmark. Dune was the first 'literature' I read and part of the reason I now study philosophy.
Anything else, don't hesitate to ask...

Right - I thought "lundse" might have meant something silly in your native language.inhuien wrote:Erm... how about. Hello.Lundse wrote:Freak and Thing (sounds like a horrid Carpenter-movie-remake): Yup, guilty as charged. I lurk around and spring up to do nothing much every now and again.

Turns out I am the one with the language problem...
In Danish "ha", "hæ", "ho" and "hi" are, especially when repeated, all ways to write laughing sounds (like "hehe"). I just read it as laughter at my username and wondered...

Oh yes, those were the times. He sockpuppeted, I whined and complained. He would ignore my arguments, I would keep clarifying them like an idiot. He repeated his statements sprinkled with abuse, I asked him to stop...Serkanner wrote:Welcome Lundse.

Hello and welcome!
“But what is the good of friendship if one cannot say exactly what one means? Anybody can say charming things and try to please and to flatter, but a true friend always says unpleasant things, and does not mind giving pain. Indeed, if he is a really true friend he prefers it, for he knows that then he is doing good.” -Oscar Wilde

Yea, so what if it doesn't mean anything in my language?

Welcome.

Am I correct that Dune is translated as Clit in Danish, or is it some other Scandinavian language? I love Clit.

In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.
I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

Long time no see!
Not quite true...since you've been active on WP again lately.
Sorry, I didn't think to leave you a message and tell you about this place. I remember that we joined the Dune Novels board at about the same time, but you flamed out in a blaze of glory in...what, just a day or two?
Welcome welcome welcome! Stay long and well here!
