Hi I'm Iúilia I'm from the northeast of Ireland
I've been into Dune since 1984 when a college friend lent me a copy of the book. God Emperor is my favourite book, closely followed by Heretics and then Chapterhouse. My favourite characters are Murbella (not that you'd ever guess lol) and Lucilla - the debate she has with Dama is incredible and she even coahemnnects with the futar who doesn't want to eat the nice lady lol. I like Murbella because of the development I can see in her character from when she first appears where I found her irritating through to leaving her former sisters behind intellectually and finally becoming strong enough to unite the warring BG and HM. I'd love to have seen what developed from that but sadly short of a successful seance with Frank I'll never know. I don't care to read any of Brian and Kevin's ahem, works. I tried a little of one of the preludes and gave up at the point where the Baron allegedly rapes RM Gaius Helen Mohiam and ta da just like that Jessica is her daughter. I got about 30 pages into Hunters when I realised the folly of my endeavour and gave up. At least come the Apocalypse I'll have 2 books for the fire...

Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.
