Hey, everyone!
Just wanted to drop a note and let everyone know I've made some upgrades and improvements around here. I installed some antispam measures on the board, which seem to be working. We used to get 1-5 spammer account registrations per day, and since installing the countermeasures two days ago, we haven't had a single one yet. So I'm optimistic about the package that does the filtering. Please post if you know if anyone is having issues registering.
I'm planning a few more enhancements. I'm going to upgrade the board software to the latest version of PHPBB, and I'm going to be installing an HTTPS certificate. Most of you won't notice either, but some older browsers may have problems. I'll set up the server to automatically forward HTTP requests to HTTPS. If you're not using the HTTPS Everywhere plugin, I highly recommend it, but it won't be necessary to access Jacurutu after I install the certificate.

Cool. I noticed as well all of a sudden there were no more spam accounts. Does that mean I am out of a job?
