I think that either using the same handle or letting everyone know about previous handles pretty much goes without saying. Anyone who is going to change their handle (and not disclose their previous IDs) is looking for anonymity and won't bother following rules - most of the people who would want a secret identity are probably planning on breaking other rules anyways.

And yes, it is fun ferreting them out.

Well, I think we are all smart enough to figure out who's who, though you suckas still havent figured out that I am arnie.

But if someone whats a clean slate and wants to come over here and not let us know what their preek-identity is, well, I cant say that I blame them. Nobody should have to do that. And I think that this place should remain casual and as friendly as it can.

There's no way to enforce that kind of rule, anyway. If you don't have access to IPs from DN, then there's no way to know, other than guessing from posting style.
