This morning I was born in Jacurutu...
Hello all.
I like Dune.
There are many places on the Internet where one can discuss Dune but I have seen that if I ask a question elsewhere I might get a reply from someone who uses apocryphal sources and does not explicitly state it. This is extremely annoying as I don't want my mind to be depraved by the abomination. However in Jacurutu I know I will only get answers based on the Dune books.

Welcome! This is a good place if you want to know more about the real Dune books and talk to knowledgeable Dune fans.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

Thanks for the welcomes!
By the way it was quite difficult registering to the forum. I have tried three times altogether. For example last year when I created an account I never received the activation email. I also tried contacting the email given in this post, and also sent email to Omphalos but no luck.
Well this time it worked so I'm glad now

Oops, that's an old email address. I think it should be automatic, anyway. Fixed.3 P-O wrote:Thanks for the welcomes!

I thought so too. I also tried the Resend activation e-mail multiple times but no help.Freakzilla wrote:I think it should be automatic, anyway.
Btw, your old email address is still in the registration form page where you have to choose the pictures of the animals.

It's all part of the Darwinian Process, and of course welcome.3 P-O wrote:I thought so too. I also tried the Resend activation e-mail multiple times but no help.Freakzilla wrote:I think it should be automatic, anyway.

Heh, didn't expect to get eye-rolls for quoting Dune here. Though I get them a lot when I use them IRL.Freakzilla wrote:

I can confirm that the search link does not work. I'm not auto-logged (or that I know of).
Sorry, I'm new here. I will probably make the same mistake again (but with a different quote). Bear with me

It's not a mistake, I just use that line all the time, that's all.
Normally we have auto-login working, the search link doesn't work because it opens a new tab/window, I suspect.
