I finished my microfilm research of The Santa Rosa Press Democrat and found:
-138 articles written "by Frank Herbert"
-100+ photos "by Frank Herbert" for articles without writer's credits
-100+ photos "by Frank Herbert" for other writers, or as stand-alone photos.
I also found a 1949 photo of Santa Claus sitting on a beardless Frank Herbert's lap.
I found a picture of 2-year-old Brian Herbert peering into a jack-o-lantern, taken by Frank Herbert:

The articles have been "keyed-in" and I'm in the process of laying out the book, which should be done in less than a month.
I expect this book to be in print in time for Christmas.
I just launched my crowdfunding project to print a First Edition of 1,000 copies.

I hope you don't think this is SPAM.
(If somebody else discovered "rare outtakes," I would be interested in hearing about it...)
Feel free to move this thread elsewhere.

I've ordered mine too. Rakishoard too
He ordered a print of few articles from microfilms few years ago, but there were only 8 of them.
Really great job of finding and scanning them all!
I have around 30 articles from California Living. I'll scan them all after Worldcon, promise

Looks like I missed the funding window by a few months, is this still being published?
How can I order a copy?
