I'm from DC, so I hope to see it when I take the family back next year for a visit.
IMHO it would not be too hard to out do the museum in Seattle. They try hard, but just do not have much space so everything is jammed in there on top of everything else.

I went to the Seattle one a long time ago. Agree with Omphalos...
What I remember: lots of Star Wars, even more Star Trek, many costumes from shows I didn't know, little Dune.
I liked the rock 'n roll museum across the street a lot better. I live kinda close to Washington D.C. so I'll have to check it out!
