A Freebie at Amazon on July 19 and 20
If I may say, Amazon will offer my short work Reading Machiavelli at no charge, tomorrow and Friday, July 19 and 20. I bring up the essay here, because I think readers who have read all or most of Frank Herbert's Dune series are among the men and women best able to imagine that the opinions some of us have about Machiavelli and his major works could really be true. The essay includes just one paragraph that is addressed directly to readers of the Dune series, but the whole essay is actually relevant to you and your interest in the series.
