Well I piped up when you left Worm's. You got threatened and not only did I tell Worm on the board that he should have done that in private, but I searched for you and sent you PM's that you read but never responded to. So why do you want us to believe that you would have behaved any differently if anyone had reached out to you after you got kicked from Arrakeen? It was unfair, orald, but please quit your bitching.

I don't remember Orald being threatened.

IIRC, the words Worm used were along the lines of:

Orald, you had better calm down, unless you would like to be "on the outside looking in." I think that last part is verbatim, but its been a while. Not direct, no, but I certainly knew what he was saying. I also remember that orald was just being orald, and not acting up at all (at least from his baseline over there, which was pretty high anyway.

Not that I would have banned him for anything.. I only think someone should be banned if they break the law, make the board unusable, or threaten legal action.

Uh....guess again. I ran into orald right away in the immigration thread (how could you forget that debate) so I knew exactly what was going on. And IIRC I got notes from two users there to supplement my impressions of him (nothing but love, I promise you orald). I had also read TONS of his posts over at Arrakeen, so I knew exactly who orald was, and Worm had invited me months before to start posting book reviews, and had lurked there quite a bit before joining and doing just that. IIRC I also got a little 'tude from you, my dearest, and based on the degree to which you were sticking up for him, I hardly think it was the "last straw." It was just more of the same, and certainly not the first threat from Worm, and was no new reason to consider banning him. I guess the last straw there was oralds? Anyway, I knew who he was, what the general impression of him was, and appreciated his wit, like I still do.
