I recently had the honor of being his first Facebook customer. I bought a tenor guitar which arrived last night. Crys added a small surprise for me, which personally I love.

That's a great looking git right there, man, if I do say so myself! 6 kinds of woods on her. Cherry neck, oak wings on headstock, rosewood fretboard, poplar fret markers, padauk and cherry bridge, and Spanish cedar cigar box!

And thanks to Dunefish for providing the font!

Next to the headstock motto my favorite part is the nut made from a cut domino.

Not sure if my skills are to that level yet chig, but I definitely want to get to a luthier status as a builder one day. I am just a humble cigar box guitar maker at the moment, but my cigar boxes do kick some ass!

That would be killer if someone did that at a show! There is no reason why you couldn't have some cigars in there. Many players keep slides and picks inside theircigar box guitars. I make mine to open up pretty easily most of the time. These CBGs have been around for 150 years!

I didn't know the concept was that old Crys. I know depression era musicians and Delta Blues men made them, but that's a lot older then I thought they were. Cool!

Aren't the Republicans a little leftwing treehugger anti-Christian for the area you live in? I'd think you'd have some extra special party that was even crazier and more rightwing for the Mormons to vote for...

Yes, people here would love to drill for oil and use our oil sands. National parks be damned! They hate that the Federal govt. has control of that land. There was even a state rep that led a group of 4 wheelers into one of the parks and proceeded to tear the place up while the police and rangers just stared and watched on. No tickets issued. I would say we have plenty of religious nutjobs that would put Palin to shame! Moderates like Huntsman are rare indeed.
