This thread isn't bad at all. Haven't been on in a while, just browsed to see the image/comment ratio, didn't seem seem talky to the point of excluding imagery (some very cool finds by the way )

Re: Dune Art
That's a good question. I may, but I don't want to make a stink about it. A year ago I had real plans, came on saying "watch out here it comes", then work blew up. 12 hour days for the last year (not fun).
I hope to. It's definitly on my mind sir.

This is an early UK hardback cover to HoD. I don't recall seeing with out the graphics before.
I know it's big, and if you have an issue with it you can bite my shiny metal ass.

Re: Dune Art
That sandworm looks like an adult novelty I have. Could have been a little fiercer, other than that I like it.
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

New goodies from Sparth. His blog had this to say about it.
A small tribute to Dune. This one is just a sketch for a possible cover, but they chose different options we're still working on. i still liked this version though.

Re: Dune Art
Nice one - new Sparth Dune!
I think Sparth is my favourite current artist. I've got a copy of Structura: The Art of Sparth and every single page is stunning - things like the way he uses the brushes to creates shapes and suggest details (I'd go as far as to draw parallels with the descriptive aspect of FH's writing style) is awesome... and it's doubly awesome that he's a Dune fan and gives us shit like this!
I feel inspired to boot up Photoshop now

Re: Dune Art
Hi, I'm new here... the original dune series has inspired me to draw over the last 15 years. These are a few of the drawings I kept and scanned:
