Hey Everyone - bless the maker and all his water
Hey there.
My name's Chris, or nistle2 if you like.
I'm rather new to Dune. A good friend of mine has been a fan of the books for about ten years and I finally took his advice and picked up the first one. I enjoyed it immensely and have since finished Dune Messiah, Children of Dune and (as of 10 minutes ago) God Emperor of Dune.
This has all happened in the past 5 weeks so my head is about to explode with all the knew vocabulary, ideas, themes, characters, etc.
I'm compelled to keep reading although I'm certain I'm not grasping everything (who could on a first read, right? right?!) so I found this forum and it's been a valuable resource just to read other people's thoughts and expand my comprehension and enjoyment of the Duniverse.
I look forward to posting in the future and getting into plenty of discussions about the intricacies of processing feces in the thigh pads (did I mention I've seen the Lynch film a few times haha) and other interesting topics.
Thanks for having such a good website and I'll see you around!

Just don't make any sudden movements and try to keep your hands and feet away from their mouths. Thanks for having such a good website and I'll see you around!
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

We have a few topics on processing feces in the thigh pads, and about processing feces on the web (just look for a reference to "DN" and you'll see what I mean)

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.
