You ever have such an irrational hate of something it just creeps into your mind and pisses you off at random and varying times ruining what was previously a perfectly fine moment of being? That's how I would describe my feelings for Franks son. I've shared this with numerous foke, but it's one thing to be heard and another to be heard an understood. I think here on this forum I may find my reckoning.
Love Dune. Changed my life. Hope that doesn't sound too dramatic. Picked up my fathers old copy of Dune when I was 10 after watching the Syfy mini. It was like amazing thoughts were flooding into my head. Nothing has even come close to touching me in the way Dune did (specifically the first four works) and I've been through multiple philosophy text book in college and consider myself fairly well read (although I haven't really sat down with a book I didn't need for school in some time)
Good to be here. Thinking about giving the series another read starting with God Emperor just so I'll be able to chat about it more eloquently with the rest of you.
