Hello

Post by ThighPadz66 »

Been a reader of Frank since like 1979 or so.
Love it.
I will defend Frank's works from the depradations of his boy and his pal. But if I see it, I will probably take major issue with any of the George Lucas-haters who like to accuse him of theft.
That's about it.
Hope to have a good time.

Hello!

I also don't blame Lucas for stealing anything. Most of the SW desert setting is just artistic backdrop, not idea or character theft.

I think Lucas stole the desert setting from Lawrence of Arabia, the movie.
He was a film student at USC when it came out. They TALKED about that film, and the desert setting.
