Alright, for those of you who are just as big Dune nerds as I am, I bring you:
Tasty Spice Coffee Recipe by Me
1. Grind your coffee beans with a chunk of cinnamon (I recomend a small chunk about a cm long)
2. Rip open one bag of Chai Tea and mix this in with the grounds. This gives it a cardamom flavor, which is mentioned in Children of Dune:
Quote:Abruptly Leto saw a young woman sitting outside a crude hut in dawnlight.
She sat right there in front of him roasting coffee beans to a rose brown,
adding cardamom and melange.
(If you want to roast your own go hard, too much work for me)
3. brew coffee, add sweetening and cream if desired.
Tastes really good, unless you don't like Indian spices, in which case you have bad taste.

And unless you don't like coffee or tea, in which case you actually have taste.

I usually just sprinkle a nice grade cinnamon powder over the grounds before brewing.
Haven't tried adding cardamom, though.

I wouldn't add straight cardamom myself, it really needs the other spices in the Chai to balance it out. For my tastes anyway.

Doesn't Chai mean Tea? So it's like saying Tea Tea. Like Jugo Juice translates to Juice Juice

LOVit.
The original word is Chinese
cha 茶. Even English
tea comes from it, via Malay from a Chinese dialectal variant.
(This is who I am. This is what I do.)

For some reason I read that as "Tabasco" sauce... I hope that's what he meant.
Do you know how you can tell if a redneck is married?
There's spit stains on both sides of the truck.
