I think I'll try it all Dune font though, I reckon the colours and text should be enough for anyone to get the reference... And I'm pretty sure DuneFishUK will have something to say about having so many fonts on one pic ^^

I'm not too happy about this part though , a bit too noisy, which is why I thought I could do what I did for "DJIHAD" to rewrite the "I WANT YOU" and harmonize the lot.
(I wrote it with Word, then highlighted the text with the secondary colour, copied my screen to paint to upload the image and put it in pixlr where I used the select tool to cut around the letters)
And also, arrange a bit the bottom part, maybe use the colour of the sand to blend in the background of the "recruting station" bit.

good point, I kinda thought it could be misinterpreted since the word carries a much more ominous meaning thanks to you know who, but since you've raised it I guess someone else might...

I liked the way the sentence rolls, and also for pratical reasons of space and font sizes.

But precision is all so this is not over !

If you're print-screening it, type it out as big as possible, magic wand it, then re-size it. Also, have you found Layer Styles (right click on the layer in the Layers box)? Outer glow with maximum hardness will work and should look much more sexytastic

yeah it's wibbly cause I'm doing the colour shade by hand, to my shame I'm still using PixlrEditor...

This is in pixlr (like I said in the other thread, they've just directly copied half of Photoshop )



It's definitely worth your while learning GIMP or PS - right tool for the right job just makes life easier

I have Pixlr in French so I didn't realize at first what the layer styles were !
