Not exactly a combination of letters I'd expected to happen across in that book.


(Pedantic mode: Cantonese(?) syllables are either open [no final consonant] or end in only p, k, m, n, ng, t, IIRC, so if you're not a Fu, you've a one in six chance of being a Fuk. Would have been perfect if (assuming that's in English order) her family name was Yu.
