I got 500 channels of bullshit in Arabic, Indian, and some kinda moonspeak-bullshit
I'm assuming is Korean, but fuck me if I know ...

the local network channels are working, but they are on a separate dish,
pointed at a separate satellite ....

anybody else got the DishTV and seeing this shit ?

I've seen the DishTV do some weird shit, mostly with screwed up programming info on the guide,
or dropping whole sections, like all the ESPNs or the deep-9000 educational channels, which is
understandable, but I ain't never seen nothin' like that there ....

MSNBC was an Indian "Antiques Roadshow" type-thing, CNN was motherfucking People's Republic of China
Official TV, and best of all, FoxNews was some screaming mullah, with a news-scroll with that squiggly-writing
going the wrong way across the bottom of the screen .... if I'da been a little more awake and thinking, I'da
ran the DVR on it for awhile ....

the program info still said "Fox in the Morning" or whatever; whatever the cross-up was didn't
affect the program guide; also, the pay-per-view porno channels were apparently unaffected ....

right, and maybe that's what irritates me .... beef is fucking beef, and the preparation is more
important than the breed of fucking cow ... it was the "demand" for angus beef from them
New York City "steak houses" that got everybody into it; now that there's so damn many of
them, there's no advantage in selling prices ... and the sheer stupidity of these animals does not
equal out any of their cost ...

All cows are pretty stupid, really. You can beat the crap out of one trying to get it to move, and it'll just stand there... not that I beat the crap out of cows or anything, but I have seen one practically choke itself to death because it wouldn't go in the pen after it had been roped. A cattle prod works like a charm, though.

There's no difference in the taste of the beef, but there is a difference in the shape of a cut of meat. Beef cattle have bigger muscles, so the steaks are bigger. Dairy cows are kinda tall and lanky.

There's a pretty decent difference in taste/texture between factory farmed beef and pastuered beef though. Plus, I'm a softy, I like the animal to have a good life before being slaughtered to please my tastebuds.

The difference you taste is the difference between grass fed and corn fed. Corn puts more fat in the meat. Also the less a cow moves around the more tender it will be. Factory farms are gross.

I only raise one or two at a time, in a small outdoor enclosure. They don't have a lot of room to run but they're not living chest deep in their own shit either.

Cows hardly need much room to romp, they're pretty happy as long as they're not in pain so I'm sure yours are thrilled to stand there and eat grass!
